Today, with the dust is settling on pre-orders.

It's pretty clear that Nintendo Switch 2 is going to be a huge seller.

But does it make it Nintendo's best hardware launch ever?

We're going to rank them.

It may eventually be the best-selling launch.

Yes.

Maybe by a big margin, if any of this information from the pre-orders is something to go by.

But there's more that goes into just the best launch than just the best selling.

There's the games, the experience with the hardware,

just like the, oh, I'm wowed by this factor. So we're going to go through every single

Nintendo launch, decide what we think has been the best, and talk about how Switch 2 can maybe

come out on the top of the list. Where is it ranking among all of the other Nintendo hardware launches? You came up with some great criteria. I did. Which is nice. We're going to look at launch games. Like you said, we're going to look at cool factor. We're going to look at just whether or not the hardware at the time felt next gen. But it's going to be fun to look back and rank all of them. And then, yeah, we'll see where Switch 2 stacks in that ranking. For anybody who might be saying, well, the Switch 2 launch line up is a little light, doing our research, I reminded myself, there was a system. There was a system that launched with literally two games. Yikes. Game one and game two. And that was it. That was it. That was all you got. Take your pick.

You know, like they say, when we were kids, we used to walk 15 miles in the snow. To get the pre-order I'd to camp in the snow for two months. With no shoes. To play one game. Only to play one game for a year and a half. When we were kids. Kids these days, you don't know. with your lineup of, you know, 20 plus, whatever games.
