Hello and welcome to episode 168 of All Might's People Things. And listen, I did an episode

of this show last Thursday and so much has happened in the meantime. I mean, I just don't

like how I could have done a podcast every fucking day. What is what is going on? What is

going? Well, that's the job. That's the job of this podcast. It's called what most people

think and it is trying to get to the heart of ordinary political views. And you know, there

was a time when this podcast was, you know, sort of defending the conservative government

and going after labor. Well, you know, I would be a liar if I didn't have lots of criticisms

about what's going on at the heart of government. Now, what's also still shining the light

on the opposition, asking what the fuck they would do. And if you talk about the mood

of the country, I did a Times Radio event on Saturday. I mean, this was a funny thing.

It was, I thought it was just me, Hugo Rifkin and Jess Phillips just talking in a studio.

So I did, I had no idea what I was in Cheltenham. I thought there might be a small audience.

I got there. There were 600 people and I've got to say, you know, I'll get on the right

of Jess. She's one of those labor people who doesn't hate Tories. And I think in the

age of Nicholas Sturge and Detest in the Tories, I guess what's that? I think we need

more of that. I think that's important for labor is, you know, I mean, they're trying

to win back Tories to not fucking demonize people that have voted for them before. And there

was 600 people at least recorded. And I was saying, they looked like, I mean, if you

literally had, like, what does a Tory vote look like? You go, well, maybe over the age

of 65, silver hair up and about early on a Saturday, you know, those people, you know,

when you see them at 10 a.m. and they go, don't just have in some lunch. You know, that

kind of person that saw up and at it, I was up at 6 a.m. listening to Radio 4. And
