You know that saying comparison is the thief of joy.

And that's true on so many levels.

You know, when you consider the data when people go on things like Instagram or Facebook, that they're left feeling worse about themselves. And so that really speaks to when we start to create expectations about ourselves or our own life and compare them to someone else's. We are instantly in a state of suffering.

We're instantly in a state of pain.

We're instantly thinking, oh, well, I should be here by this time in my life,

or I should have this because they have that.

I mean, it's such a trap, isn't it? Because we have these lives, we're supposed to live in
