I am your host and Diz historian Michael Bowling.

And I am joined by my co-host, producer, and good friend Craig Williams.

Craig, how are you today?

I'm doing wonderful. How are you, Michael?

Oh, I'm doing great. So I'm feeling very good today. We've often talked about Walt Disney's

love of trains. He had his own miniature steam locomotive in his backyard for a time,

the Lily Bell, named for his wife that was part of his carolwood

Pacific Railroad he built a barn modeled on the barn on his family's farm in

Marcelline Missouri as a place to house his tools and work on his train and other

hobbies the Carolwood Society was formed to preserve Walt Disney's Railroad

legacy they accomplished this through their members love love of railroading, which is shared with

everyone, and to teach children to understand the role that Railroad served in building

this great nation, and to encourage the continual appreciation of railroading.

Carolwood hosts several members-only social events each year.

They also operate Walt Disney's barn,

which was relocated to Griffith Park, Los Angeles,

after Walt and William Disney's home was sold,
