I'm your host Eric Oldrop, and we have been going through a series on the show called Life Stages.

So we're gonna continue with that series today.

And our intention is to help people think through some practical ways

to steward each stage of their life.

So we've gone all the way up through our teen years and

now where this episode is on our 60s and so some people might perceive of their

60s as like the twilight years of their life. The time to quit, retire, step out of the

limelight, that sort of thing. But is this a proper way to view your 60s? So I'll turn it over to Aaron. Well the title of our

podcast is Leadership Now and people might ask how does this tie into leadership

issues? Well I would argue that if you can't lead yourself you can't lead

others. So this is really a show, an episode about how to steward another phase of your life.

Now I like to think of it this way, each new phase of your life provides new opportunities.

And they provide new opportunities

that the previous stage did not provide.

So rather than viewing your 60s

as some sort of washed up years or twilight years or kind of the end of your life,

I would argue that your 60s provides opportunities your 50s didn't,

just like your 50s provides opportunities your 40s didn't.
