this show. Today's going to encourage you to focus on these two

things that you can control your attitude and your activities.

The next focus I want to talk to you about is focus on what

you can control. Most people spend their whole life focused on

their interests, not what they can influence. You know, they're

attracted to their distractions. They spend their time, I mean,

listen to talk radio, people call about this political thing,

you know, look, I have very strong opinions. Okay, you can tell

about listening to me, you can imagine I have strong opinions.

But last time I checked this morning when I checked my email,

the president had not emailed me on what to do about Iran. Okay,

had not he had not, I know it's shocking to all of you in this

room. But he had not sent an email saying, you know, John,

read your book. It's really a good book. What do you think I'll

do? It's not done that. I have no influence over it. No, not

a zero. When I was running Prime America, I knew I had

influence over the attitude, the mission, the focus and the

execution of that business. And I got up every day focused on
