0:41.6	When we started this blog, we were debt free other than our mortgage,
0:45.7	which stood at $110,000. A big part of our focus early on was achieving debt freedom.
0:53.9	We viewed it as an intermediate step to financial independence and eagerly
0:58.8	awaited the freeing feeling we'd have once we didn't owe anything to anyone.
1:04.2	Last summer, we sold our house and moved into an apartment.
1:07.8	We used the proceeds to pay off our mortgage and fund our one year mini retirement,
1:13.2	which just recently turned into two years.
1:16.2	With this move, we'd achieved the thing we'd been thinking about since the day we bought our house,
1:21.8	nearly 10 years earlier. We were 100% debt free.
1:26.9	We'd imagine the world of debt freedom to be a magical carefree place.
1:32.1	So we waited for the feeling of joy, excitement, relief, and freedom to come.
1:37.5	Only that feeling never came.
