Election for President of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Senate will take place by electronic

ballot June 17th through the 20th.

Please vote to re-elect LCMS President Matt Harrison.

If you're not a voter, encourage your pastor and congregations lay voter to do so.

They say that the price of freedom is constant vigilance, and that's true not only here in

the United States where we enjoy a very robust freedom of religion and of speech, although

it is constantly under attack, thus the constant vigilance, but also elsewhere in the

world.

I'm Todd Wilkin, joining us for an update on a freedom of speech and religion battle

involving Finnish Lutheran leaders.

Dr. Poppy Rossin and she is a medical doctor and married mother of five children, a newly

re-elected member of the Finnish parliament, and she served as the minister of the interior

of Finland and the chair of the Finnish Christian Democrats.

Thank you so much, thank you for having me.

Are you expecting to be re-elected to the parliament?

In fact, it was predicted in media before the elections that I would not be re-elected.

And to poll, they're not favorable for my election.

And of course, I was a little bit nervous because of this UDTR process, because I was

suspected of crime, hate crime, and what it would affect to elections.

But I'm very grateful that I was elected once again, this is my age term.
