There is one man that is responsible for three of the most iconic bass guitar designs of all time.

Leo Fender. Of course, he made the P-base in 51. In 57, it turned into the P-base that we all know and love.

Then, of course, came the jazz bass. Then he sells Fender to CBS, signs a tenure, do not compete, and comes out

with the third most iconic bass of all time, the Music Man Stingray. But then in the late

70s, he starts G&L, guitars by Leo, and why is this not the fourth most iconic base of all time?
