early 1980s. Her death was a massive news story, and even people who don't usually follow true crime know about it. But there's a reason

I'm actually telling you about all of this, even though it is such a well-known case. And that's because

45 years have passed. And there are still a lot of rumors, allegations, and theories about this death,

which is why it's worth keeping the spotlight on it,

because many people believe justice still hasn't been served.
