This is a podcast where we tell you true scary stories.

I'm Morgan Driscoe.

And today is no different.

It is frigid, cold in Texas.

Temperatures like we have, I don't think it's ever, ever been this cold in Texas in my lifetime.

Me either. Zero? No.

Yeah. It's freezing. We have this, um, this like very desertous plant in front of our door.

It's like grassy little poofs of grass.

And they've all frozen in a windblown position.

That's amazing. There's like these little drops of water on them. So they're frozen. So they look

like beads. These frozen clear beads. How magical. It is, it is somewhat magical.

Although our apartment complex was quick to tell us to be careful and also it's not in their lease to do anything about ice.

So that is, if we want to salt our walkways, that is our responsibility.

We were told not to salt anything.
