0:23.3	Mormons live by. Mormons are often known as being those people who don't drink alcohol
0:27.3	or don't drink tea or don't chew tobacco or smoke or anything like that or do drugs. Now
0:32.8	we're going to get into it today. And of course, we're not the only group or even religious
0:37.0	group who have beliefs like that. But regardless, the word of wisdom is what a Mormon would
0:42.9	think of when they're thinking of their health code. And it was a health code that was given
0:48.0	by revelation, according to our founder, Joseph Smith to our founder, Joseph Smith way back
0:54.0	in the Curtlyn days, which is in the 1830s. And today we're going to be talking about its origins
1:00.1	and how it's been emphasized over time. And maybe some of the issues are problems with
1:05.4	it if you're trying to understand or look at the Mormon church kind of objectively as
1:10.7	it relates to its truth claims. So that is today's episode. I do want to remind everyone
