minutes ago, I think you are in store for the person that I think I would list as the

number one person I would up to this date, everyone to interview who's alive on Mormon

Stories podcast. And I mean that sincerely and I hope you guys agree. We are here today

to interview Patrick Mason, Patrick Q Mason. Hey Patrick. Hey John, it's great to be

here. Hey, Margie. Yeah. And Margie's with us. Hey, Margie. Hey, there, man. Dreams

are coming true today. Yeah, I was going to say you need a longer list. I'm going to

top you really need a better list. No, I'm sick and buy it. Let me go ahead and just kind

of read Patrick's bio. First of all, Patrick Q Mason holds the Leonard J. Arrington chair

of Mormon history and culture at Utah State University. Go Aggies. A myelma motto three

times over Patrick is written or edited several books, including Proclaim Peace. The

Restoration's answer to an age of conflict, Mormonism and violence, the battles of Zion,

what is Mormonism, a student's introduction out of obscurity, directions of Mormon studies,

like the Mormon menace. And those aren't even the books that we thought about talking

about today, just a year or two ago, this book came out Restoration. God's call to the

21st century world. That's the book that I've read that I'm prepared to kind of integrate

into our discussion today. And I've already mentioned Proclaim Peace, which is brand new,

right? Yeah, just a few months ago. And it's a joint publication between the Maxwell

Institute and Deserabook. Yep. Co-authored with David Pulsefer. David Pulsefer. Yeah. So

many books, Patrick, but Patrick is he's an author. He's a scholar. He has a bachelor's

degree in history from Brigham Young University, two master's degrees from Notre Dame, one in
