Hello and welcome to episode 165 of what most people think. Now I know that the last podcast

only went up on Thursday, the chat I had with the excellent Josh Howey, but this is

gone up Tuesday afternoon with any luck, because there's been so much news. So much news

since then. We've had the, what is it called, the Kamakwazee budget? I mean, you have to

have been, that's quite funny. We had the tanking of the pound, some of you already know

from social media, I nearly ended up in a fight at my radio for record. I mean, I've got

hope. I think I'm the only, probably the only comic doing a radio for special can really

get in a punch up at his record. So I will be, I will be spilling the beans on what happened

there shortly. But this is what most people think, you know, it's trying to gauge what

is the sort of ordinary or the most common, maybe the median view in a, in British sort of

political and social thinking. And you know, as the polls move at the moment, that seems

to be that most people don't think I want the toys in power anymore. So we ask him when

we talk about the politics, what they've done, how it's played out, and what, if anything,

they can do to change that. Maybe I have another prime minister. I saw a joke earlier

saying there's only 17 more conservative prime ministers until Christmas. I think that

Joe's been done before. But look, the problem is, is when you, is when you're under fire,

it's very hard to change the narrative. So we'll be looking at both the two main parties.

Just on the radio for record, so let's get straight into it in case some of you are listening

for that and then just going to fuck off. I mean, if I had any sense, I teased this,

wouldn't I? I'd do a teaser and then I'd talk about it at the end, but fuck it. Let's

get it out of the way. So when you do a radio for record, it's more of a, like a scripted

thing. It's not like we can stand up. And that, mate, I mean, on one level, you sort of
