Yo, what's up and welcome back to the show. This is David Scales. This is Surf Splendor.

Or wait. Is it Surf Splendor, actually? In fact, this show is called Caught Inside with Chris Cote.

You might be asking yourself why, and the reality is, in light of my conversation with Scott Bass a couple of weeks ago,

and just after doing this podcast for

four years, a number of different show formats has emerged. And a time has come to delineate

those show formats and to distinctly brand each individual show and for them to have their own name.

And the name of this show is caught inside.

Why you might ask?

Well, that is because I will be keeping you inside the industry scoop and gossip.

And this show, the idea is to have caught inside with a rotating panel of co-hosts of broadcasters,

commentators, people who you already know.

And when I say this style of show has emerged, this is similar to the Sal Masa Kehl

L'Amela episode.

This is similar to the Kyle Tierman show that I did a couple of weeks ago, where

only a portion of those shows were actually about that person as an interview subject.

It was more about that expert in surfing, discussing surfing, the contests that are happening,

what's going on just in the world of

sponsorship and the industry.

And so who greater to gain insight from than these people who are right in the thick of it?

So again, the idea is rotating co-hosts for caught inside and whoa, whoa, settle down.

I know that you are wondering, what about Scott Bass?

Is it over? Good news. Scott will be back next week. Caught Inside is not meant to replace Scott Bass.
