Days of our life was that true my mom used to watch soap operas while ironing shirts in

the family room your thoughts on ironing shirts and soap operas?

Well I always tried to get someone else to watch the soaprows and iron the shirts

before me well I'm gonna say, I'm going to say words.

I always try to get someone else to watch the soap operas

and iron the shirts for me so that I didn't have to do either of those things.

There's a great line, though, that is soap opera opera ask in the final season of the office

where Andy Bernard says they don't tell you you're in the good times when the good times

are happening nice a paraphrase that's not the example.

But if only someone told you that these were the days,

that these were the good times, right?

Yeah, that's the point in the moment.

Yeah, and so these are the days of our lives and as Father Bonaventure

likes to remind us for Michelle Foucault I think says that there are no good times

or bad times there's just dangerous times that's an especially you know

terrifying phrase from an especially terrifying man who is like the principal
