I'm your host Eric Ultrop, and last time we sat down, we started a new series on life stages we're calling it.

So in each of the coming episodes Aaron is going to offer counsel to a different stage of life.

So last time we did teens this week we're going to start on our 20s and then 30s 40s and so forth so

today we have some advice for people in their 20s like like myself and so this

is all important we went over this last time this is important because as Christians were called to make disciples and disciples

disciples like we said preaching the gospel and teaching sound doctrine but it also involves

just practical advice from people who have gone before us.

So Aaron's wise, Aaron's a very wise guy and so I'm sure he's got lots of good things for all of

our 20 year olds out there. So Aaron, why don't you start us off and take us away?

Well, as I've thought about this, Eric,

I actually think that the 20s probably are the most important decade in your life in terms of setting the

trajectory for the rest of your life until the end of your life. I mean there's so many

things that happen in your 20s. You literally go from being a teenager to an adult.

You could, by the end of your 20s, just in one short decade, be married, have multiple kids, have earned a couple degrees, have been certified in some

trade, you could have purchased a house, you could be an employee, an employer, you could have investment properties, you could be holding some sort of civil elected

office.

I mean, the 20s is incredibly significant in terms of getting out of the gates, being released from your parents household, and establishing patterns financially, relationally,
