Can you tell us about the phone call?

You've been fighting the UFC for one year now.

What was that first phone call?

I'll give you a little backstory first.

My road to the UFC was kind of different.

I think a lot of people don't understand that it's a struggle.

There's no minor leagues.

And if you would consider something a minor league in the UFC, it's just you're fighting at the Indian Casino.

And you're just trying to get wins under your belt to get noticed or to get into the big show.

The fights are for attention.

It's not like a system.

It's not like, here's $800.
