And this is Song versus Song, the podcast where we take two vaguely related songs and argue about which one is better.

This week, we are doing Mika's Grace Kelly versus the Scissor Sisters. I don't feel like dancing. This is one of Lena's.

I mean, it is in a way. It is in a sense that, yes, you cheated. You cheated me out of the actual

challenge. You wanted, I can't decide. I called an audible and I changed it to I don't feel like dancing, but I still consider this one of yours because I wouldn't have not ever put these two artists together for a, I would not have thought of either of them for a matchup because I unfortunately am too straight. It is a massive drawback, I think.

You know, it's so funny that you say these things, just because, like, there was a time, Todd.

Or I, too, was a straight man.

And now I am a straight woman, apparently, which is very strange.

It's been an odd journey from there to here.

You know, I just, I just wanted to stay.

I want it to be in the mainstream.

And very interestingly, I think the correlation there is that these artists also were kind of in the mainstream.

You know, I considered these, like, I'm in the, I'm in the know because, like, I'm an indie hipster person, or at least I was around, you know, 2006, 2007.

So, like, me knowing these artists, like, made me really cool.

And for the record, by these artists, I mean, one.

I did not have a clue who Mika was until much later.

Well, you, I mean...

I knew the Sizzar Sisters.

Well, Mika does, like, hosting duties for Eurovision.

Isn't that a thing that he does?

Yeah. Yeah. I was really shocked to find out that both these songs went to number one overseas.
