Hello, everybody, and welcome back to Extra Hot Great. This is episode 163 and we're going to be talking Game of Thrones with none other than Mr. Alan Sepanwal. Greetings Alan. Hey, Alan. It's great to be back. Yeah, it's good to have you back, man.

We're nearing the end of Game of Thrones. We've got a couple of truncated seasons coming our way.

Everybody is now in the dark as far as the plot line goes. We've now gone beyond the books for the most part.

And Alan, you were saying before the show that you were kind of looking for a little bit of a faster Game of Thrones for the premiere. I was at least curious

if they were going to do a faster pace because, like you say, two seasons ago, both of them

shorter than anything they've done

before. All the characters are now in the same country, which hasn't been the case for the

entire run of the show and everything's supposed to be contracting. And I thought, all right,

now, you know, we're going to start really racing. And instead, this was an episode of Game of

Thrones. Here's a five minutes here. Here's five minutes there. And it's just a lot of setup.

We always mention table setting whenever it comes to the first episode of the season. But for me,

I was kind of wondering, is this table setting or they did just bring the table out? Because a lot of

this just seemed to be continuations, a little bit of a period on a lot of the stuff that
