Today we are going to be covering a very, very interesting, haunted island, Ovalia.

Many of the island's current ghosts begin appearing after the Black Death that terrorized Europe

in the 14th century.

It's believed that the fleas and lights actually carried the disease at first but then it passed

on to smaller creatures like rats.

It's believed that in 1630s alone, 55,000 Venetians died on the island, but they also ordered

the corpses to be burned.

Apparently, the local government converted the old plague hospital into an asylum, and

it's believed that one sadistic doctor named Palo always carried out the most radical

experiments.

According to legend, many patients here describe seeing strange shadow creatures lurking

in the isolated rooms.

They were lucky if you survived more than a week.
