| 1:02.2 | Some of the biggest harm I think they did was in the area of vaccines. As many of you know, |
| 1:07.3 | CDC has been under criticism for years because they act as chief marketers of vaccines, |
| 1:13.1 | but are also responsible for monitoring adverse events from vaccines. And too often that's meant |
| 1:18.4 | there's a cover-up because there are conflicts of interest fair. This has been well explored |
| 1:23.7 | over the years and news reports and congressional committees. It's long been recommended that |
| 1:29.0 | those functions promoting vaccination and monitoring for adverse events be separated at CDC, |
| 1:35.8 | that safety monitoring be conducted by a separate independent branch. Yet nobody has made that |
| 1:40.8 | happen. So here we were during COVID with the sliding scale claims on vaccination, |
| 1:47.8 | with CDC putting out false confusing and misleading information about them and other matters. |
| 1:53.5 | And then they and their advocates claiming that those who have logical scientific questions or |
| 1:59.0 | those pointing out the obvious issues, claiming all those people are anti-vaccine. |
| 2:04.4 | They've been saying that for years and propaganda campaigns against |
| 2:08.2 | scientists, reporters, against parents of autistic children, but deploying it now against so |
