But obviously the big events have happened since then that we haven't addressed then that'll be what it is

Welcome to episode 163 for what most people think and you know what I mean there's been times recently where the idea of being in line with public opinion

You know it's drifting a bit economics have become a bit more left-wing but if you get off social media

I do think that you know feeling you know sad about the Queen a bit a bit sad and you know the end of an area and you know sort of just something that would be near in your whole life

I would imagine would be an incredibly common feeling so I'm really glad that this week I've got with me

Well a grown-up to talk to I'll say the brilliant Andrew Doyle welcome to the show mate. Thanks for having me. I mean I've started this off now like a really sombre chat here

Yeah, so I'm gonna have to be really serious basically

That's what you're saying you you can you don't have to be but I just it's weird because obviously as a comic you know guys on our side of defense

And I've often been said well go and say the unsaleable and or would you dare make a joke about this now and it was really odd

Because I sort of well I like the Queen why would I I think they've missed a point that we're joking about things that we think

But we're trying to not be put off by subjects other people find contentious

Yeah exactly I mean making a joke you can make a joke about anything although I have to say most of the sort of snarky comments I've seen

Haven't been jokes at all they've just been sort of really grisly

And sort of nasty barbs about gloting about the death of an old woman. It's been really really odd actually

I think you know the phrase Twitter isn't Britain

I feel like this week more than any because in last week's episode it was a very Twitter centric episode

This is the opposite

I feel like almost no one is discussing this in the country and the way that people are either using it as a point in time to go

Oh let's roll out my kind of republican arguments or people who are you know getting incredibly sentimental about bees

There's something weird though isn't that about the way which republicanism has changed
