Dallings, Dallings, Dallings, let's talk about Pluto. So I touched on Pluto in last week's

astrology hot take by talking about boomers and millennials. That was episode 161 about

boomers and millennials and how they're kind of both a part of different Pluto generations.

Now this week I want to pull back and talk about what Pluto really is about. So let's begin

at the beginning. Not all astrologers love working with the outer planets as much as I

do. I am a best zest with the outer planets. And I think that anyone who does any kind of

astrology associated with trauma and healing and early developmental issues and addiction

and abuse and you know inherited conditions, etc. etc. anyone who's really focused in

their astrology practice around any of those issues or related issues is going to want

to fuck with Pluto because Pluto governs all of those things.

When we look at Pluto, which is the slowest moving planet in the whole of the zodiac that

astrologers work with moves very, very slowly. In fact, Pluto takes almost 250 years to move

all the way around the zodiacal degrees. So while the sun takes a year, your birthday

is when the sun returns to the exact place you were born every year. Pluto would take 248

years, approximately, to do the same damn thing. Yeah, slow moving. And whenever we're

talking about slow moving planets, when you're first studying astrology, it's really tempting

to think, well, that can't really be that personal to me because you know, it's like

it moves so slowly. Anyone born within a year or two of me is going to have the same

planet in the same sign, not in the same house. But you know, it's the same for a generation.
