You're not trying hard enough. That's the problem, right? You've been telling yourself

0:10.2

that recently. If I would just try harder, I just need to be trying hard. Me and my laziness

0:18.4

is the problem here. I would like to offer you a different perspective. Maybe if there

0:26.9

is an issue, something in life that you're trying to accomplish or routine you are trying

0:31.6

to get going, something positive, something that would move your life or your family's

0:36.2

life forward, and it hasn't been happening. Maybe the problem is not you. We live in a culture,

0:45.4

and especially certain segments of the culture, that expect perfection out of you and with

0:54.7

no recognition for the fact that you are living in an unnatural societal environment. You're

1:35.2

to help you and accept this quote unquote fault that is preventing you from doing whatever

1:44.0

it is you want to do. That is the topic of today's fine episode. We will talk about that.

1:49.7

I also have a couple of funny stories for you. Let me tell you before we really jump into

1:56.5

the podcast. This episode is, well, Caitlin, I have a question for you. Our executive producer,

2:03.4

Caitlin here, on this podcast, on the Jennifer Weiler show, does the grind ever stop? Never,

2:13.2

never. If you suspect at any point in this particular episode that I am intoxicated, if you're

2:21.6

like, you know, Jen's not doing her intermittent sobriety right now, we can tell that one was pretty

2:28.1

obvious. I want you to know that is actually not the case. I am tired to the point that it is a
