Isaiah 52.7.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news.

Who publishes peace.

Who brings good news of happiness.

Who publishes salvation. Who says to Zion, your God reigns.

Think about this verse and the imagery in it. The feet of those who bring good news. You think about

people who've brought you good news. You're waiting to hear what happened in this or that

circumstance. Somebody comes out and brings good news. I think about being in a hospital when my wife

is having a baby and coming out in the waiting room and saying to family members and friends,

like, it's a boy, like come and see see this baby. Like, those are beautiful feet.

People in the waiting room were, like, waiting for that person to come out and bring

that news.

So then think about that on a much grander level.

Because this first is talking about publishing peace, bringing good news of happiness,

publishing salvation, like to sinners who are on a road that leads to an eternal hell,

somebody comes out and says, there's a way for you to go to heaven.

You can be saved from all your sins, forgiven of all your sins, you can have peace with God.

You can have happiness for all of eternity.

You can be saved from your sins.

That is great news.

And those who bring it have beautiful feet.
