And Vanessa is going to give you the real. The honest behind the scenes truth about what goes into building a successful business.

A few months ago, if I recall this correctly, someone DMed me on Instagram and I think she had just lost her job or just quit her job. I can't remember which one.

And she was wondering if it was possible for her to build up her coaching business from scratch, from zero in 60 days.

And my honest answer was, no, it's not. That's just the real truth. I can lie to you. I can be like, yeah, I build a six-figure business in 60 days. Yeah, guaranteed. No, I'm not that guy.

Because I know what it takes. I know about the delayed gratification that you have to accept if you want to build a successful business. I've done probably a little over 2000 podcast episodes.

Between this podcast and mindset coach and Sean Croxton sessions and undergrad wellness radio 2000 podcast episodes. Let me tell you the ones in the very beginning. Hardly anybody listen to those.

It's a lot of little by little, little by little, little by little. Over time, a little becomes a lot.

And so Vanessa's going to talk about the reality and how many tweets she had to put out and how many videos she had to create and what goes on behind the scenes for it all to come together.

And if you're willing to again, accept that delayed gratification, it'll happen over time. But if you aren't, it simply won't. Vanessa van Edward, she's coming up.

And her brain is a very powerful thing. And my goal today, and I think my goal for my entire career is to teach you to see more.

See more of expectations and reality things you don't expect to see.

Four years ago, almost to the day, I was sitting in this audience. I was actually sitting back in that corner over there. It was my very first WDS.

And I was totally in awe. I was watching the speakers on stage and I was inspired and activated.

But this other thing started to happen where it seemed like they had it all figured out right they had the perfect businesses, the perfect brands.

And I started to have total niche envy.

And I started to wonder, what's wrong with me? Why can't I figure it out? And I realized there's this kind of swan effect that we often see, right?

The swan on the surface looks so smooth and easy and beautiful. Everything looks like it's all figured out and perfect.

But just below the surface, that swan is paddling for her life.

And I was very rarely see the merceness, the chaos, the hustle.

And so sitting in the audience four years ago, I made two vows.
