You've seen them on TV shows like Mad About You, Titus Ray Donovan, Saturday Night Live, Children's Hospital, the Buck Henry Created Series Quark, and the situation comedy he and she co-starring his longtime spouse Paula Prentice.

His film work includes memorable roles in Catch 22, good by Columbus, Westworld, the last of Sheila, diary of a mad housewife, the sunshine boys, house colds, love at first bite, the last married couple in America and disconstructing Harry.

Or deconstructing.

Oh, disco.

He's been celebrated for his work behind the camera directing popular features such as racing with the moon, city heat, mermaids, little Nikita, the money pit, and the film we've discussed at length on this very podcast my favorite year.

In a long and prolific career he's worked with and alongside George Burns, Sydney Pwadiye, Mike Nichols, Walter Matau, Peter O'Toole, Mel Brooks, Sean Penn, Woody Allen, Clint Eastwood, Neil Simon, Stephen Spielberg, Shirley McClain, and Tom Hanks to just name a few.
