For everyone in the U.S., I want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!

Whether you are in the U.S. or not, we all should take the time to put our attention on what we are thankful for.
 
In this audio, I talk about the power of gratitude and thanks to those around us. I also want to direct your attention to the inside world of you and how immensely powerful it can be in changing your emotional state and where you are heading in life.

Hey guys, Joseph here. Now, today I'd like to talk to you about the topic of giving thanks. Now, obviously in America, it is Thanksgiving. and I want to put a bit of a twist on this because of course it's so important to give thanks to those around you.

So to thank our loved ones, to thank and to do good for others. So to have gratitude, to experience that gratitude and to help

help other people. So on the one hand, we've got this whole idea of the type of things we can be

grateful for, the type of things that we can express our thanks and obviously if we do begin to express

our thanks we will feel better I mean there's been so many studies that when we do a

good deed for someone else when we pay something forward it does cause our

system our unconscious mind our brain our body to actually seek out more

things like that and actually experience good feelings. That is why it's awesome to give gifts

of people. It's awesome to share something with someone and to do something without an expectation

of a return. So we know that that makes sense.

So we know through studies that actually it helps us,

on a neurological and a health level,

to actually do good things and to have thoughts of gratitude

and to give thanks to the world around us.

But on the other hand, I want to talk to you about giving thanks to yourself.

Now it's rarely something that we do.

We usually just think of gratitude or giving thanks to those in our life or maybe to the world, the universe,

to God, whatever your belief system is, whatever is your personal truth, we begin to,

we think about giving thanks to the external, the external thing. Unless maybe if you're that

way and kind that your internal connection with God or the

universe as I said whatever your personal truth is we do usually go on the external but I want

you to take this opportunity to have gratitude for yourself to thank you thank yourself on the inside for stepping up, to paying attention
