Two minute warning edition posted on Fridays to give you something to think about what's for or to do.

To finish your week's strong and maximize your weekend, I will also include an occasional red zone rant.

And why not?

That happens today.

Let's talk about the topic, keep it classy, not tacky. You look up the word tacky. It talks about tasteless, vulgar, crude, showy, trashy, cheap. You get the idea. And what I'm talking about is after a victory, after a win, whether it's a contest, whether it's in athletics, you can soil or even spoil a victory by how you respond to it. And if it's on a team, just one person can soil the whole team. It could be a top performer in business that wins a contest or a team that wins a championship.

The same principle applies. Keep it classy.

Not tacky behavior includes, but is it limited to, using low-class language in the public celebrations

after the victory, making the victory about you.

I deserve this.

Not sharing the credit with teammates degrading or disrespecting the people you've beaten

or anything else that takes the focus off your success and puts it on your egregious behavior.

And don't just call it poor judgment. Oh, she used or he used poor judgment. It's low integrity. It shows pride. It's low integrity. And integrity is one of the eight key traits of the game change your life. So keep this in mind. Little distorts perspective like winning. It's great. You worked hard for it. You earned it. You deserve it.

But you didn't save a life or rescue a hostage or open an orphanage or negotiate a treaty or even

save a kitten from a tree. You won something. Now some wins are bigger than others, but it's still

a contest. Keep it real. So what should you do? Be grateful. Deflict credit to others. Compliment the valiancy of the vanquished. Remain humble. Celebrate briefly. Then set a higher goal and get back to work because there's probably another contest right around the corner. Keep it classy, not tacky. Let me close with this. You may not be able to add years to your life, but you can add life to your years and you can start now.

By keeping it classy, be classy, not tacky, stop being lived, start living the game, change your life, and we'll talk again.
