Dr Wolfgang is the John L. Cameron Professor of Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University, as well as the Professor of Pathology and Ecology.

He's the Chief of the division of surgical

oncology as well as the wise chair of surgery for surgical

oncology at the Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Dr Wolfgang is a hepatobiliary pancreatic surgeon with an emphasis on neoplasms of the pancreas.

He runs a basic translational science lab that focuses on the molecular genetics and tumor biology of pancreatic cancer.

Dr Wolfgang completed a combined MD and PhD degree from Temple University School of Medicine,

followed by his general surgery residency at Penn State

and a fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

He took his first faculty position at Johns Hopkins and since then has been there ever since.
