Hi Kate. Hi, Jess. What are we talking about today? Dating in sobriety. Weird.

Oh my God. I have so many questions. I'm not dating in sobriety. I am married and I got to just talk about myself for a minute. Not that easy to get sober in marriage when your significant other drinks. Not for any fault of his own, but it was just kind of, like,

when you're getting sober, it's all about you. And so that was a little difficult for me.

Yeah, I still don't know how it's, I'm single right now.

This is the longest I've ever been single.

And I've never dated.

And I don't.

Never dated, period, really?

Correct.

Okay.

I've been on one date in my life.

And luckily I'd gone, it was when I was sober and I got to the bar first and I just ordered

a mocktail. He asked what I was drinking. Like it was time for like another round. Yeah.

And he's like, do you want to drink or what are you having? And I'm like, because I's like,

I'll have another one. Yeah. What are you drinking? I'm like, oh, it was just like a mocktail. And it was like a non-issue. Okay. But that took a lot to like...

Was it like a stranger or like someone you met online? Yeah, exactly. But I never saw him again

because he looked and dressed very much like my excellent mic. And I was like, I can't,

you're dressed exactly the same. He has the same beard. Like everything was like so similar. I'm like, I can't, you're dressed exactly the same. He has that shirt.

I'm like, this is weird.
