Oh, all right. It didn't take multiple tries to get that intro, everybody. I was going to say a different name as a joke, but then I was like, no, let's not, let's not ruin it. My name's John. I am very excited to be recording this podcast episode. Not even for any reason in particular. Just honestly, I had a pretty bad day. and I'm just glad that for the next hour, I get to sit down with my pal and just talk about books. Me too. I've been looking forward to this for so long. Yeah. We're recording a few days later than we normally do just because of circumstances, and I've been, like, longing to do this. I know. Me too. I just literally today it was like just everything was going wrong.

You know one of those days. One thing after another. And every time I was like, it's all right.

I was invited to go and host an advanced screening of the Netflix film to all the boys.

P.S., I still love you.

So the sequel to All the Boys I've loved before.

And I was so excited because it just sounded like a really fun opportunity and like a crazy kind of night.

But also because I loved the first movie.

Me too.

I was like there for it.

And then I was like, well, I bet you they'd let me take a plus one.

And I said, do you think I could bring my friend Raylene?

And they were like, yeah, sure.
