Plain Transmission. Play in transmission. Crime is sometimes defined as a grave offense, especially against morality. This definition is one I like as it's subjective.

It allows us to debate outside of the rigid rules and sticking points of law books,

books that are often studied in an effort to discover loopholes or

flat out weaknesses in our justice systems. Books that will make it difficult to use are common

sense because of their demand for events to be seen as black or white.

No gray area welcome.

And if any seeps in under the courtroom door we soon bleach or scribble dark ink over these outliers

to clear things up.

When we speak of a grave offense against morality, we speak of what is considered to be unquestionably wrong.

Murder, rape, thievory.

Thievory is an interesting blanket.

It covers everything from theft of another's child to theft of another's privacy or belongings.

But what about theft of free will?

And what of that despicable transaction occurring between separate species?

Is it a crime for a toddler to place a grasshopper spider and a handful of ants in a jar to see what happens?

Or for a wolf to be transformed into a pet over generations

of crossbreeding and environmental adjustment on some level I suppose it is.
