I was no longer a freshman, and I felt I had a pretty strong grasp on campus life.

A female friend of mine from high school, who, I admit, I had always found attractive, had started going to my school as well.

She was living in the dorms and often required my services as an experienced sophomore co-ed.

One evening, she asked if I wanted to come over to watch a movie on her crappy 12-inch TV, knowing it meant

being cuddly on a bed, as that was the only seating available for two in her cramped dorm room

I accepted the offer. After the movie ended, curfew was quickly approaching. Due to the dorms policies prohibiting boys from being in the

girls' dorms after 11, I began to put on my shoes in preparation for my departure. That was when she

grabbed my shoulder. I saw this look of worry in her eyes. Then I realized she had seemed off all night. Then she

confided in me. She said, over the past two nights, someone, some guy, knocks on my door.

He does it so softly that by the time I finally wake up, I'm not really sure how long he's even

been there. And then he talks to me.

He repeats the same stuff. He keeps asking if I'm sleeping and if he can come in. So far I've said

nothing. I just stay in bed with the blankets pulled up to my chin. It goes on for about an hour.

And then he finally stops and just leaves. I asked my neighbors if they had heard anything

or had any similar experiences, but they said no.

Now I knew that she was worried, but I remained calm and figured there could be any number of

explanations for why this was happening. I thought this was most likely a prank, maybe even

perpetrated by her neighbors, who supposedly didn't know what was going on.

The dorm was pretty secure, though.
