Hello and welcome to today's episode of Stand Up.

I might just have to start every day's show with that.

It really, it really fired me up.

Those two people are doing exactly, exactly what we are called to do by those same ancestors,

standing up, getting in good good trouble how do you think we

got here standing up for somebody else for somebody's been wrong for a community of people

have been marginalized in some way for anybody for yourself for the critters in nature standing up

for something giving you the purpose to get through the day and maybe

even get through with some success, something to celebrate, which is exactly what I have today

because we won the two board seats that were open at the Clarkstown Board of Education

right here in Rock and County, New York.

And I could not be more proud of the amazing group of people I have gotten to know and work with

in this community. I am super emotional and just absolutely amped over this win.

Is it a big deal? A really big deal for us. It's been a long time coming, a long journey.

And so we're very happy to get these two seats back.

We don't have the majority of the board, but this is still a massive, massive win.

And so I'm celebrating that today.

And I'm also celebrating the fact that my 21-year-old Eva is graduating from

college day. She did three years at college, one year at Ithaca, two years then at FIT.

She's graduating today with her associate's degree in media, digital media studies, and
