Welcome, everybody, this is Derek Bonder along with my colleague over at the Athletic Philadelphia.

0:22.6

Mike O'Connor.

0:23.6

How you doing, buddy?

0:25.4

I'm doing pretty well, man.

0:26.8

Better than the Sixers are.

0:28.4

I don't think anybody is doing pretty well.

0:30.9

After that performance against the Brooklyn Nets, a 25-point drubbing to the Brooklyn Nets,

0:36.4

which really, you know, I'm going to stop short in saying

0:39.5

that the Sixers were exposed because I think that was the worst version of a game that they'll play.

0:44.4

0:50.4

1:11.2

1:18.4

and highlighted them to the biggest, the highest three possible. It was so bad. I mean, everything,

1:27.0

I think the biggest thing that really stood out was what

1:30.0

Brooklyn's back court did to the Sixers on both ends. You look at guys like DeAngelo Russell

1:35.8

and Caris Silvert able to create one-on-one offense easily against Sixers perimeter players.

1:42.7

And then on the opposite end,

1:44.4

their guards can't break them down in the half court,

1:48.1

and those are mediocre defenders.

1:50.9

When the Sixers are, they lead the league in body and ball movement,

1:55.4

and we all agree that's a great thing,

1:56.9

but at a certain point, that catches up to you.
