And I'm her little brother William.

And this week we are going to talk about the lost colony of Roanoke,

something I'm so curious about because I have a glancing understanding of what it is.

You can kind of figure it out even from the name.

And I've done mild research myself to do this topic for the show back when Will and I used to each have our own

subjects and it felt too overwhelming so I'm really glad we were able to spread it out

and now we can learn about it. It's really crazy.

So this week on the show, I looked up the history

of the Lost Colony of Roanoke to hopefully tell the true,

with an asterisk, the true story of what happened,

and you're going to be covering the pop culture

representations of that legend.

Yes.

But in doing my research, this story is sprawling and in many ways this sounds trite this sounds I'm about to say somebody that sounds like the hip history teacher in many ways it feels like a story about the discovery of America, but it does it does it does it makes sense
