And with that being said, man, today, this story is in Fuego.

Buddy, I gotta tell you, my wife, Karina and I, we've really gotten into these home construction shows. Are you guys big HDTV fans and sorts of things?

Sure. Of course we are. We're married and we're approaching middle age. Of course we are.

New home owners, you just recently moved into a new home. We did. So you probably watched a lot of this stuff.

So much of it and realizing, man, it just, it always just seems like a lot of work. Isn't this for Micah just fine? I think it's fine.

About for Micah. It's definitely for Toddy. We've been, you know, chippin' Joanna Gaines watching, of course, for years. We just started this new one called Home Town. Have you heard of this one?

Is this the Laurel Mississippi people? Laurel Mississippi. And they'll go in and renovate these homes. It's incredible. We saw an episode where there are like 500 or 1000 bats living in someone's attic.

Baseball bats. Baseball bats? Collectors. They turn that thing into a masterpiece. It's amazing what these folks can do looking at a dilapidated home and envisioning what it could be and then setting about their hands to accomplish it.

Wow. Now, of course, you know, they're probably employing an army of others very skilled hands as well. But I bought it into it. Now, mom, you know your boy and Todd's mom, you know your sweet boy, Todd.

We're not exactly what you might call master craftsman, right? We're not exactly handyman. But you to be fair, you are.

Not really. There are someone explain to me once there are indoor boys and there are outside boys and we are inside boys.

But Matt, you did repair all the brick on the side of your home recently and that was good.

So mom, you live in Florida. Todd's mom, you live in Florida. Yeah, we don't have to deal with a lot of foundation issues in central Florida. However, I live in Texas. And so one day I noticed there was no mortar after this brick between these bricks in my home.

I went to Home Depot. Man, these people. I was very angry. I mean, it's an older home, but I thought, why wouldn't they finish the job? I go to Home Depot, I get the stuff, I repair that hole. And then I noticed three bricks later, there's another one. So I fixed that.

I keep going and I keep seeing more of these holes. So eventually I've plugged every third brick. I've plugged up probably, you know, 20 of these holes.

And then I, someone told me we had this bad storm and they told me that there was a bunch of water in the walls and I just had to just come through the drywall. No, because in Texas homes, of course, it came out the holes and the brick that are meant to help you and your home to move when the ground shifts.

So I had done way more harm to my home.

Plugged all those up and it was every third brick. There was a pattern there. But these sweet inside boys eyes didn't see that pattern.
