marine biologist Sophie Wolvin, who's here to talk about little jello casseroles full of bees,

the moon jellyfish. We are going to talk about what to do if you get stung by a jellyfish,

what it's like to take care of the delicate

jellies, their vortex of death, jelly beans, and blooms. I confess to some heinous jellyfish

And Sophie, we've been like buddies on social media for a little while, so it is thrilling

to get to actually talk to you and especially to talk to you about such a charming and delightful

animal.

But before we talk about our charming and delightful animal, let's talk about the charming and

delightful person that is Sophie. What is your jellyfish story? Yeah. It's kind of funny because my jellyfish story,

I sort of fell into jellyfish, which is like not a thing you want to do to jellyfish specifically,

like of all the animals. They don't seem like they have the structural integrity for it. Yeah, and also, like, the stinging, really not something you want to do. You don't want to be in an unexpected jellyfish situation. Exactly. Like, suddenly jellyfish, and you're in the middle of them, that's not really ideal. Normally. I've sort of, like like bounced around a little bit. I don't know,

ever since I was a kid, I was like that kid that was always covered in mud following whatever

animal was nearby, just obsessed. The ideal? The ideal, you know. Living the dream. Yeah,

living the dream. I was really lucky to like grow up in a provincial park essentially in Quebec.
