A big thanks to Dr. Salles who takes us through complicated upper GI and bariatric scenarios.

Dr. Salles is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. She earned undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Engineering and French at the University of Southern California. She completed medical school, surgical residency, and a PhD in Education at Stanford University. She has been at Washington University in St. Louis since 2015 when she arrived here for a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery. Dr. Salles specializes in bariatric surgery. Her research interests including research related to obesity as well as gender equity and physician well-being.

Hi, I'm Megan, I just completed my second year of General Surgeonia

University of Nebraska.

I'm currently in Philadelphia to do my research at the

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in the area of fetal surgery interventions.

And great and our other new adjunct member is Shre Agupa.

I just finished my PG-2 at Case Western in Cleveland and moved to

Washington DC. I'm starting my research fellowship in surgical oncology at the

NIH. Great and they have lots of new exciting ideas that they're going to bring to behind the knife this year to help take us to the next level.

And of course, we would be amiss if we did not thank Woodo for all of his hard work over the past year and I'm sure he

will be helping us in the future on different behind the knife projects.
