0:27.9	hello and welcome to Oh, what a time. It's a history podcast. And a theme that's come up a lot recently is that of locks, and specifically locksmiths. I have had a locksmith round my house this morning. Why? Why was that?
0:57.4	Because the lock at the back of my house has failed and the lock at the front of my house has failed.
1:00.3	Now, is this something you should be saying on a podcast?
1:03.3	You may as well be living in a Wendy house.
1:05.4	No, it's fixed now. It's all fixed.
1:08.9	A Wendy house.
1:12.3	Even some dead some locks.
1:15.0	Yeah.
1:16.2	But the great thing is they failed in such a way that I couldn't get in or out.
1:20.8	Okay.
1:21.4	So the back door wouldn't open.
1:24.6	The front door you could just about open.
1:27.1	But then if you close it again, there is a chance you would not be able to open it. Oh. Yeah. That's scary. We've got two back doors and one of our back doors has failed. Oh, I missed a big shot. It's just been closed. Yeah. It's just been closed for two years because I've done nothing about it. And then we had a rat in the house.
1:45.3	And I thought, if I can open that back door, that's the best way for the rat to escape. Yeah. And I open the back door. The rat door. The rat door. I open the rat door thinking if I can't close it again, I will just live in a house with no door. But that is better than living in a house with a door that's got a right in it.
2:02.5	What you need is a rat flap.
2:03.5	That's what you need.
