| 0:15.0 | Resilience. It's such a beautiful word and concept and it has a lot to do with happiness. |
| 0:22.0 | The definition of resilience is the capacity to recover quickly |
| 0:27.2 | from difficulties or toughness. So why would resilience be important for our happiness? |
| 0:35.0 | It's actually very simple. |
| 0:37.0 | It's just one of the rules of life. |
| 0:40.0 | And this rule is like gravity. |
| 0:42.0 | It is a guaranteed thing to happen. |
| 0:45.0 | We can do a lot of things to slow it down from happening, but sooner or later, |
| 0:50.0 | this thing's going to happen. And it's change or impermanence. |
| 0:55.0 | Life changes. It doesn't stay the same. |
| 0:59.0 | And change can be good, but for us sometimes change isn't so good. |
| 1:05.0 | Sometimes these changes are big, and sometimes these changes aren't so big, |

| 1:12.0 | For example, I've had the same email address for the last 30 years. |
| 1:16.6 | It's a good one. I use it everywhere. But the company that hosts my email address made some |
| 1:21.9 | changes, and what they didn't tell me is that they were having that hosts my email address made some changes. |
