So before we get started, we'll kick it over to my co-host over there, John Delin. How you doing today, fella?

I'm excited to be here and welcome to MarmStories podcast as well. And we're just so thrilled that you're willing to come and host some of these episodes,

focused more on the reconstruction, healing, and growth aspects of faith transition versus kind of the deconstruction part.

We're so thrilled to have you. I love you, and I'm always thrilled to be here.

Thank you. I know. I'm a total newbie, but happy to be here. Maybe I'll give a short intro again to Thrive Stories and the idea behind Thrive Stories in case you're new.

So the idea of Thrive Stories is a shorter interview. They tend to be around two hours or so.

And basically, it's an area of thriving. So post-faith transition, we do interviews around an area of particular thriving, and we tell that story.

And I love it for so many reasons, but one of the reasons I love it is because I feel like it kind of pokes a hole in something that we have been taught oftentimes in condition to believe, which is, you know, if you kind of leave organized religion, that on some level your life is never the same, which it isn't the same, but in a negative way, right?

That it's that on some level, you kind of suffer for the rest of your life, which I don't see to be true. That's not what I witness. So this interview series is kind of exploring what life after a faith transition looks like in a particular area.

So you can nominate yourself. You can nominate someone you know if you're interested in participating.

You can pick an area, some sample areas could be finding your own voice. It can be a healthy marriage. It can be finding spirituality. Again, it can be what else, John?

We've done mental health. We've done sexuality, physical health, just any main domain of healing and growth that we that you think would be useful to a lot of other people.

We'd love to hear your story. Yeah, anything that's kind of common to the experience, I would say, but I'm really excited for today's episode. I'm really excited for this interview and just feel so grateful. So without further ado, we want to welcome Drey Nord here today. Thank you for being here.

Yes. Thank you. It's good to be back. Yeah. So let's just begin kind of with selected area. What area did you want to kind of explore today as part of the interview?

Okay. So when you reach out to me about this opportunity, I mean, I think immediately I was like, I totally know what I want to talk about. And I want to talk about generals and being a woman, you know, specifically a Mormon woman that is no longer Mormon. And what that's like for us.
