a lot to get into. Let's start with the war in Iran, as we tend to begin here on the news, the

straight of Hormuz, remains effectively shut despite the extension of the ceasefire by

Fatty Shack. Iran apparently fired on three commercial ships

and seized two of them. Our dear leader justified the extension by saying Iran's government was

quote seriously fractured and there's quote no time frame for ending the conflict. Even though

he had described Tehran's new leaders, quote, much more rational and, quote,

very reasonable days earlier. He also insisted the U.S. totally controlled the straight and said

Iran was losing $500 million a day. So, yeah, there's a lot happening, as there always is.

The New York Times says the Iranian attacks came as the U.S. enforces a blockade of

Iran's ports. Neither side appears to be shying away from trying to exert control over the straight,

even as a ceasefire, is still in effect as a result. Traffic through the waterway has all but halted

straining the global energy supply. Oil prices nowiking again they fired the army secretary a couple weeks

ago yesterday it news broke that the navy secretary has also been fired during a war where the
