In our film review this week, our film review is The Ring.

The ring was released in 2002, it is 7.1 out of 10 on IMDB and 71% on Rotten Tomatoes.

It sounds like just another urban legend.

A videotape filled with nightmarish images leads to a phone call for telling the viewer's

death in exactly 7 days.

Newspaper reporter Rachel Keller, played by Naomi Watts, is skeptical of the story until

14-agers all die mysteriously, exactly one week after watching just such a tape.

Allowing her investigative curiosity to get the better of her, Rachel tracks down the

video and watches it.

Now she has just 7 days to unravel the mystery.

Before we start with today's film review, I just wanted to say that yes I know there

is a Japanese original version of this particular film I believe it's called Ringu and I have

seen it.

Many, many years ago and I am aware that it is much better than this version and if you

haven't seen it go and watch the original version of this film Ringu, it is fantastic.
