Building on her experience developing diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies for companies

like Google and App Nexus, Dorian is a racial equity strategist and speaker for organizations

that want to build an anti-racist workplace.

Her areas of focus include employee engagement and retention, inclusive hiring, and on-boarding, and

leadership accountability.

She also provides culturally responsive and inclusive career

and leadership coaching for women of color in the corporate world.

Dorian has given multiple talks and has appeared on virtual and in-person stages at Columbia Business School, Dress for Success, Google, Fast

Company, and Women's Leadership Forum.

She is from Brooklyn, New York and is currently living in San Jose, California with her husband and her daughter.

And so Dorian is the perfect person to have this conversation with me and on this episode of the

podcast we covered why she chose this land of work, what racial discrimination in the workplace is,

our personal experiences with racial discrimination throughout our careers, how employees can

strive for an anti-racist culture.

And we also talked about what to do if you're worried about repercussions from speaking up
