Summary

High above the clouds is a city in the sky. It's called Columbia, and it was once a part of the United States, a floating testament to American Exceptionalism and the sacred religion of The Founders. This is all true in BioShock Infinite, anyway, an adventure set in an alternate version of 1912. As Booker DeWitt, your charge is clear: Rescue an unusual girl named Elizabeth from the grasp of Columbia's deified leader and get out of dodge. But, as with Ken Levine's original BioShock, Infinite is about much, much more than meets the eye, a clever, well-written title that challenges the very essence of what makes games... well... games! Racism, nationalism, militarism, industrialism. These aren't exactly common thematic elements of the fare we usually play. But here, they're central to the story. So press play, my friends. The Lord Judges. I act. Yes.

0:32.4

Excellent. This was all your idea, which is set it out right from the start.

0:36.4

Yeah. This cockamami hair brain scheme was all Colin's idea.

0:41.2

Definitely was. We're going to do some knockback episodes on video now. I don't think we're going

0:45.9

to, I think we'll record them all on video just because Riverside is so easy to use and then we'll

0:50.2

put them up as we feel like, here's the thing, Dagen. Please. We have the last stand media

0:56.0

YouTube account and I feel like a lot of these episodes we do would fit there.

1:00.7

And so my thought was like, why aren't we just recording these on video? People

1:04.6

are watch time on YouTube is enormous. People do sit there and watch these two-hour videos.

1:08.0

So I'm like, why not try it and why not start? Yeah, exactly.

1:12.7

And we're not having to see this face. They've seen that face, but now they may rethink their

their desires, but we'll see. We'll see. Indeed. Now, my little overdress, this is what the

1:22.6

kids are wearing on YouTube now, right? I mean, you look like a million bucks. I didn't anticipate

1:28.0

this. Not bad for me, right? Yeah, no idea where I'm going down here. Maybe my shirt's not even

1:33.5

tucked in. Who knows? Dude, when I went to Catholic school, I used to do the role. You know,

1:38.4

instead of tucking my shirt in, you would just roll it up. So I would look like it was tucked in.

1:42.7

That's a good idea. See, I never wanted to have this. They used to get so mad and the
