Welcome to the show to a dramatically different new kind of spotlight episode.

I've been looking forward to this, my friend, for a long time.

I can see it in your face. I can see it on your t-shirt.

Yes, sir. I change from my Dr. Strange t-shirt to my true vintage Shang-T-T-shirt.

So I am ready for battle. Right. And battle will be our topic of choice because we've got three of the Marvel Universe's best hand-to-hand combatants to talk about in this. The trisecta of Marvel Street characters. Indeed. Indeed. Giving them kind of a little bit of a light brush.

It's a little departure from the usual exhaustive thoroughness of a straight-up spotlight episode.

But at least it... So we're going for breadth a little more than depth.

Indeed.

And again, it's like our recent Dr. Strange spotlight.

It's timely because a couple of these characters, at least,

are going to show up in the burgeoning Marvel- cinematic universe via Netflix. And so it's fitting that we provide you folks with a little bit of

a primer about these characters. And of course, we're talking there about Iron Fist and Power Man

or Luke Cage, but I wouldn't be surprised if Shang Chi shows up there eventually. There is every
