All right, on today's episode of Nothing Major, we're going to recap Indian Wells. Stevie's going to break down what happened in Miami. We've also got a few other little segments, so let's get into it. Jack Jones, Stevie and Sam, got close a few times, never want to slam. Nothing major. All right, everyone, welcome back. It's a two-man show today. Steve Johnson and myself, as always, we've got the team at Sift here. I'm going to go to Stevie right off the bat. You guys had a live show in Miami yesterday. Explain to us how it went, what went down, the travel situations, and everything.

It's it's quite, it was quite the ordeal, really.

We, we, uh, we all, so Jack, John and myself, we're all getting in late on Saturday evening to Miami.

Everybody gets in, you know, no problem, you know, John gets in a earlier.

I get into like 10 or 11.

Jack gets in like midnight one.

We're getting fired up for the live show on Sunday.

Forecast just takes a turn for the worst on Sunday. And it was torrential downpour, lightning, thunder, you name it. It was

gross. They canceled every match. I don't know if a ball was hit, to be honest, in the women's qualifying on Sunday. So they kind of, look,

it was just a bummer. I mean, you guys had it in New York, right? You guys had a bit of rain

out there again on the first live shows. So we're 0 for two on live shows with weather.

But ultimately, we pivoted. We made lemonade. You know, we were handed lemons on a tough, rainy day in Miami, but we were,. We made lemonade. We were handed lemons on a tough rainy day in Miami,

but we made some lemonade. We got a great interview with Andre Rublev. And then Taylor Fritz popped in,

which was amazing. I mean, we basically just bombarded his private suite because somebody was like,

oh yeah, he's not in there. You guys could just hang in there until we go do our thing. And like, okay. And of course, Taylor's in there getting treatment.

So we're like and just bug him to get him on the pod. But I cannot say anything other than nice thing about Andre Rublap. This guy waited for an hour for us for the room to clear. He waited around, didn't need to so we were fired up to get him on but i think that will come out on

friday if i'm not mistaken we kind of have to work some things out. And then, and then all hell broke loose on the flight situations for everybody trying to get home. I mean, you know how it is, right? Like, you got home just for people that don't know. Stevie landed in L.A. at 2.30 last night, back home at 3.

We're recording right now at 9 a.m.

We pushed it back a little bit today so you could get four hours of sleep.

Because, look, John and Jack both got stuck in Miami last night.

It was just a debacle.

John, you know, we left the Hard Rock Stadium to go to Miami Airport, which is about 45 minutes south. John's flights gets canceled. He's panicking because he's got a family trip for spring break that he needs to be on today, Monday, which he did make. But ultimately, then had a cab back from Miami Airport up to Fort Lauderdale to take a flight, tried to take one last night, couldn't get on it, took one this morning. Jack, I do believe somehow is going Miami to like Tampa, Tampa to Phoenix, there's just some crazy routes, but it's not ideal, but somehow I got home on mine, just Miami, L.A. direct, which was kind of the most convenient because here in L.A., we have no curfew. We can land any time in the night. So I need a home.
